Do I need an appointment or can I just stop by one of your offices?
It’s best to make an appointment to ensure we have availability and can see you promptly. Please give us a call or send an appointment request.
What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
In order to conduct a digital fingerprint, you must have:
• A valid, government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, Valid DMV ID, Passport, Military ID, or Resident Alien Card)
• ORI Number
• OCA Individuals fingerprinting for DCF, please bring your (OCA#)
What is an ORI# • Originating Agency Identifier Number (ORI)?
Your Employer or Regulatory agency who is requesting fingerprints or background check will have this information. It is extremely important to use the correct ORI Number when scanning and submitting your fingerprints. If you do not provide an ORI number or if you provide an incorrect ORI number to the live scan provider, you will not receive your fingerprint results.
What is an OCA Number?
The OCA is the Controlling Agency Identifier provided by DCF to identify the provider requesting the background check. Without both the ORI and OCA numbers, FDLE cannot process the request and DCF will not know where to send the results.
